The Madison County Genealogical Society program (7:00 pm, Winterset Public Library) features the website Familysearch.org. This FREE website has billions of records, which are easy to search. And this program will show you how to get started or how to improve your techniques. Theresa Liewer of Des Moines, an Iowa Genealogical Society instructor, will once again visit Winterset with one of her informative presentations.
The Genealogical Society monthly programs are always free and open to the public. A short Society meeting will follow the program for those who are interested in attending.
