No MCGS October Meeting
The Madison County Genealogical Society is not meeting in October. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, November 2, 6:30 pm, at the Winterset Public Library. We hope all those interested in family history will plan to attend then.
We can report that McGinnis, Peru, and St. Charles cemeteries have all been walked this year. The alphabetic name and row-by-row documentation for each is being updated and placed in the Winterset Library’s Genealogy section. Photos of recent gravestones are also being uploaded to iowagravestones.org. Many thanks to our volunteers for their dedication.
