Mission Statement

The Madison County Genealogical Society’s goal is to create and foster an interest in genealogy and to collect, preserve and publish genealogical and historical records for the future.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm, in the Winterset Public Library Meeting Room except for January and February (due to likely nasty weather).  Notice will be given prior to the date, if the meeting place is changed.

Membership

Included in your membership is a subscription to the quarterly MCGS Newsletter and to post free queries therein.

Single Membership: $10.00 / person / year, payable on January 1st.

Family Membership: $15.00 / year, payable on January 1st.

Lifetime Membership: $115
